Hash Brown Potatoes

Me and my auntie like to get together and cook/bake new things :) One day we made tons of things together and she threw these potatoes together for a side dish and they turned out amazing! This is the perfect hash recipe that is so simple to make, The outside of the potato is slightlycrispy and the inside is perfectly soft. You guys will love these.

I have made these quite a few times since then and everyone loves them! I also love to make these for breakfast/brunch to serve alone side with eggs and veggies, These also are amazing with chicken on the side.

Oven-Baked Fish with Salsa

Oven-Baked Fish with Salsa

A few months ago I was over at my mom’s helping her make dinner for us and friends and she decided to add some salsa over the fish and see how it would turn out. Not gonna lie but I was a little nervous because I have never heard of that combination, but to my surprise It was the first dish to go at the dinner, Everyone absolutely LOVED it!

I love making this fish on busy days because it is SO quick to prep. When I host I make it a few hours in advance and have it waiting in the fridge before I put it in the oven, don’t you love when you can do that!

You can use any any other favorite fish of yours for the recipe! Personally I don’t like super fishy fish and this one isn’t at all! Tilapia, Cod and Basa would work great as well. My mom usually uses Basa.

Caprese Garlic Bread

Caprese Garlic Bread

Last year I visited my dear cousin in San Fransisco for almost 2 weeks, with my baby. While my husband was out of town for a job, it was the perfect timing :) Now if you haven’t been to SF you wouldn’t know that the food there is ahhmazing!   Let me tell you, we eat out a lot but it was totally worth it :) It is also an amazing city to explore, so much to see and so little time, I just loved the vibes of the city! I’m a country girl but I wouldn’t mind living there for a little, in a loft or a condo ;)

One of my absolute favorite thing that my cousin made, and more than once is this recipe right over here baby! It is so SO good! Brings back so many good memories when I make this.

If you love caprese salad you will love this EVEN more ;) I encourage you all to try this, in case my photos don’t make you drool ;)

Bacon Wrapped Potato Wedges Recipe

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!!!!! We sure enjoyed ours! Started celebrating 2 days earlier, first night we celebrated at our aunties house with my family and then we headed over to my parents place for our annual family sleepover! :) I come from a family of 8 kids and 3 of us are married. We have a blast at our family sleepovers :) Late night talks and games then breakfast in the morning we hangout open gifts and then have dinner ( we always keep the food out because we end up eating late again before going to sleep) I am sure all of my Russian friends understand what I mean :o We like to eat haha and then we spend another night and have breakfast together :)

Now to this super simple yet delicious recipe, the potatoes are so soft and the bacon is crispy its the perfect combination and what I love about it is that it can be served for breakfast, lunch, dinner or as an appetizer! Now who doesn’t love such a versatile dish that takes minutes to prep and the oven does the rest of the job!? I think all of us do :)

My sweet mother in law served this for breakfast when we were visiting them in South Carolina for thanksgiving  and I have already made it several times since we have been back, I love to serve it for dinner with ceaser salad and buttery garlicy- green beans on the side, will share with you how I make mine soon :)

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas from our family to yours :)DSC_9985
